Feels like time to start working again

GMNewton 2 is getting closer to release, and my thoughts are beginning to gradually curve towards the development of Vextiles. The new features in GMNewton are going to be awesome when implemented in Vextiles!

Progress

Or not. I'm focusing my efforts on getting GMNewton to use Newton 2. I'll be back to this project after the next GMNewton release. In the meantime, watch me progress on GMNewton at http://gmnewton.blogspot.com/

God bless,

Editor Stamp tools almost done

The only tools I need to add before working on a multi-object interface are 'draw rectangle', 'draw circle', and 'rotate'. I'm excited to get this going!

Multi layer + highlight

Added the ability to remove objects with right-mouse button, switch layers by scrolling, and highlight the current layer.

Rasterization

Implimented a script that locates the 2d coords where a 3d point would be draw with the current projection. This will be useful for highlighting selected objects in an overlay.

Level designer progress

Hello and welcome! This is the first post tracking the developement of Vextiles. We have been working on the game for a while now, but getting started has been slow. It's starting to pick up momentum though, and this week I've made decent progress on the level designer. The designer is finally layed and detailed out on paper, but now I have to convert those ideas into code :) Today I added multiple-layer support and upped the graphics a tad. Here's some screens to show Vextiles during it's conception.
